For the past couple of years I’ve felt that there was a need for more naturally made body products specifically for endurance athletes. I reached out to our good friend who had years of experience making body products for her own company. We started working on ideas as a team, did some diligent testing along the way, and one by one created this line of products that we’re very proud to call Wildsense.
About Us

Jason Hanley
Owner & President
Jason’s goal in creating this company was to help other endurance athletes perform at their best and achieve big goals. His leadership in Wildsense isn’t surprising considering the years he spent operating and growing other businesses. As for running, he’s always looking for a big adventure. His favorite accomplishment to date is a three day completion of The Wonderland Trail, and he’s currently training for Bigfoot 200.

Kathleen Hanley
Co-Owner & Vice-President
Kathleen has always had a passion for health. Academically, she’s completed her MS and DrPH in health education and health promotion, and her dissertation focused on sedentary behavior. You can find a podcast about that on her blog. She’s a constant supporter of other women endurance athletes, and is currently a board member for Friends of Girls on the Run Greater Houston. Her biggest achievement to date is Moab 240 which you can read about on her blog as well.

Vanlam Nguyen
Product Manager
Though not an endurance athlete herself, Vanlam has a passion for plants and traditional herbal remedies. She received her bachelors degree in biology and went on from there to earn a MBA. Now, with over a decade of experience creating other natural body products, it’s safe to say that she has become an expert in her field. This wealth of knowledge is how we create products that perform on the level we require as endurance athletes.

Phil Salmeron
Photographer
The Hanleys met Phil on a trail one random weekend, and they became friends right off the bat. His love for the trails, and nature photography made him the obvious choice for this project. You can find his other work @philsalmeronphoto.
